Through the lens of: Mr Greg Bartlett

The story behind the photos:

“I live in South London via Sydney (didn’t work out) and the seaside town of Bournemouth. I actually studied at AIB where Wolfgang Tillmans went for a while, which is where I discovered him, Juergen Teller, Larry Clark and William Eggleston who I was lucky enough to meet at David Zwirner a little while ago, who are all massive influences to me.

I try and look for the beauty in the everyday with my photos, but ultimately I take photos of anything that speaks to me. (I’m currently experimenting with some Rollei Nightbird film I managed to pick up that’s not made anymore, working on a series on airplanes in flight and traffic cones, and some new fashion stuff that I’m really excited about!)

This series though is from a recent trip to Milan with my best friend. It was about -2° the whole time, but the light, the pizza, and the Prada Foundation made it all worth it.”
